Mineral Enterprises Ltd was established in 1991 as a family run business specializing in the manufacturing of ground minerals for industrial and agricultural uses. Over the years MEL has grown into a fully-fledged Industry for classified (graded) Calcium Carbonate, Kaolin and Dolomite, ground to varying consistencies and supplied to various manufacturing industries.

OUR PROCESSES
Mineral Enterprises Ltd employs European technology in manufacturing processes. It is one of the leading mining companies for minerals in East and Central with an installed capacity of 60,000MT, well-equipped machines for manufacturing customised products as per client requirements. We employ lean manufacturing principles which are embedded not just in the operations of the company, but also engrained in the minds of our staff. Our policy of suppling products and services is based on Quality Right First Time (QRFT) and under strict guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). We have been setting standards since 1991, by producing a variety of minerals for different applications.
We mainly focus on the production of fillers derived from Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC), Kaolin and Dolomite thus providing a wide range of product solutions that contribute to our customers’ competitiveness and productivity across a multitude of industries. Our ultrafine and micro fine fillers are used to manufacture products that serve in the following industries: Construction, Paint, Plastics, Paper Manufacture, Cosmetics, Rubber, Packaging, Food, Agriculture, Livestock, Pharmaceuticals, Ceramics, Terrazzo, Foam, Glass industry and other FMCG industries.
