MEL Stock Feed, for livestock is rich in calcium and can be incorporated into dairy feedstocks to supplement for calcium needs. The calcium rich stock feed helps to increase milk yields in cattle. Beef rearing also utilises these feedstocks to maximise growth of the animals and increase profits. MEL stock feed is also included in the feeds of young animals to help in strengthening of bones.
MEL Chicken Grits and MEL Poultry Feeds are used for poultry nutrition. Poultry do not have teeth to chew food. They require grit in the gizzard to assist with digestion and grinding of the food. The calcium in our products also helps in strengthening egg shells for proper egg production. The calcium is also good for bone growth of the poultry.
