Rubber
Kaolin is used in a wide variety of rubber applications as a functional extender in rubber compounding. Substantial amounts of Kaolin are also used in rubber making as a filler.
Our KAOMEL is an important filler in the production of rubber products such as soles for shoes and heels, rubber mats, floor tiles, conveyor belts and rubber tires. Its inclusion is important in enhancing and controlling rheology (flowing properties) of extrusion products in the manufacturing process. KAOMEL also improves the tensile strength of rubber, modulus, insulation properties and the colour of the finished rubber product.
