Companies manufacturing fast moving consumer goods like toothpaste also utilise our finer grades of our MELWIT.
Our products can also be employed in air purification in factories such as desulfurization of flue gas. In iron smelting, our products can be employed in removal of impurities in form of silica from the molten iron in the blast furnace. This forms slag which is easily removed.
MELWIT products are important fillers for strengthening the latex backing of rugs and carpets. Latex-based carpet backing is the coating on the reverse side of a woven carpet that holds the fibres in place and provides a degree of resiliency and stiffness.
